GRAND Central has something special to celebrate as part of this year's Carnival of Flowers.
This year Grand Central is celebrating 20 years as a major partner of the carnival.
Centre manager Shaine Beveridge said he was proud of the long relationship.
"Originally we saw it as an excellent opportunity to become involved in a community event," he said.
"It was identified as a way to give something back to the community.
"We are integrally involved in a number of events and as a group the sponsors are thrilled to bring the Carnival of Flowers to the community.
"The carnival is a way to show off our beautiful city to thousands of visitors and it is has huge financial benefits for the city.
"It gets better every year and it definitely puts Toowoomba on the map.
"We are really proud about our long-term partnership with the carnival and we are excited to celebrate our anniversary."
The Grand Central Floral Parade was named after the centre and Mr Beveridge said they were celebrating the anniversary with an incredible float.
"Each year our float designers put in a huge effort, but this year we have decided to go the extra mile," he said.
"Our safari float with animatronic lions will be a fantastic spectacle and I'm excited to see it in action."
As part of the anniversary celebrations Grand Central worked with the Toowoomba City Library to bring to light historical Carnival of Flowers photos dating back to 1950.
