Traffic delays after car rolls on Captain Cook Hwy at Machans Beach
Peak hour traffic was delayed on the Captain Cook Highway north of Cairns after a car rolled onto its roof early Wednesday morning.

Peak hour traffic was delayed on the Captain Cook Highway north of Cairns after a car rolled onto its roof early Wednesday morning.
A Queensland Fire and Rescue spokesman told the Cairns Post emergency crews had responded to initial reports of an accident on the Captain Cook Highway near Machans Beach about 6.50am.
“There is one vehicle on its roof on the side of the road,” he said.
“There will probably be some traffic issues as a result.”
One person was being treated at the scene by paramedics.
The road has since been cleared and traffic is flowing again.
