An elderly man was seriously assaulted at Redlynch Village Green Park as police still search for the accused.
Police said the 80-year-old man was assaulted by a younger man, while he was walking his dog on November 11, 2024 at the park.
The younger man is believed to have had two dogs with him at the time on the incident.
It’s understood during the confrontation, the younger man pushed the senior citizen, knocking him to the ground, before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment.
Authorities are seeking the public's assistance to identify the accused.
Police believe a woman who was with the younger man at the time of the incident could help the investigation.
Anyone with information or relevant video footage is urged to contact the police.
