Police have seized a large quantity of methylamphetamine and cash after spotting a suspicious substance scattered across the seats of a car.

Police officers busted a Parramatta Park man and woman allegedly driving a car with a large quantity of methylamphetamine and cash through Manunda on Tuesday night.
The pair were arrested and charged with drug offences after police ran checks on the vehicle and intercepted it on Anderson St at 10pm.
Police will allege officers spotted a substance scattered on the seats and footwells of the vehicle.
“Police further allege when a search was carried out a large quantity of methylamphetamine and cash were located in the vehicle and in the occupant’s possession,” a police spokeswoman said.
The 53-year-old woman was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs and is due to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on January 31.
The spokeswoman said the 53-year-old was denied bail.
The 41-year-old man was charged with one count each of possess dangerous drugs and possess property suspected of being proceeds of a drug offence, according to the spokeswoman.
He was denied bail and will appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 17.
