Police have provided an update on a missing Cairns North man who was last seen on April 28.

A Cairns North man who was reported missing on April 28 has been found safe, according to police.
Police appealed for information on the whereabouts of the 21-year-old man, who was last seen near a medical facility on the Cairns Esplanade around 9.45pm and had not been seen since.
He was seen wearing a maroon-coloured hoodie and grey pants and was described as caucasian, about 180cm tall with a thin build and sandy coloured hair.
Police and family had concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.
Queensland Police thanked the public for their assistance.
