Kuranda Range road re-opened after two-vehicle crash

Kuranda Range has re-opened after a two-vehicle crash this afternoon.

Kuranda Range Road has re-opened after a two-vehicle crash at approximately 4.45pm on Friday.

Queensland Police Service said the accident happened around the bottom bend of the Kuranda Range Road, at the Macalister Range.

It is understood to have been a head-on crash between a car and an ambulance transporting a patient.

The Queensland Ambulance Service is currently treating one person who has minor injuries including neck pain and a hand injury.

The road was closed from 445pm until around 602pm this afternoon.
