Kanimbla car crash causes northbound lane closures towards Brinsmead
Traffic in Kanimbla was disrupted due to a single-vehicle crash that caused northbound lane closures. All lanes have since reopened.

A car has crashed through a fence at Kanimbla this morning, resulting in lane reductions affecting northbound traffic towards Brinsmead.
Emergency crews responded to reports of the crash which occurred on the Western Arterial Road at about 6am.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders from the Queensland Fire Department were unable to locate the driver or any passengers in the vehicle.
“We’ve had a crew on scene for a few minutes but we haven’t been able to locate anyone,” a spokeswoman from Queensland Fire Department said.
It is understood the driver was picked up by family a short time later.
Motorists were advised by Queensland Traffic and Travel to exercise caution in the area.
At 7.30am on Tuesday, QTT said the road had been cleared and traffic was no longer affected.
