A two-vehicle crash has ended with one of the cars on its roof at a busy Cairns intersection.
The incident occurred in Bungalow on the corner of Hartley Street and Toohey street at about 1.30pm on Friday.
Police and firefighters attended the crash.
None of the drivers were trapped in their vehicles.
“There’s been a two-vehicle crash, with one vehicle on its roof, police and ambulance attended but there was no one trapped in the vehicles,” a spokesman from Queensland Fire Department said.
One ambulance attended the accident and did not requiring additional support.
Meanwhile traffic had been impacted on the Captain Cook Hwy earlier on Friday afternoon, while firefighters worked to contain a vegetation fire.
The grass fire was brought under control by 1.50pm, and traffic has since returned to normal.
