A man has been charged after he was captured on CCTV following a woman along a main city street and trying to film up her skirt.

A man has been charged after he was captured on CCTV following a woman along a main city street and trying to film up her skirt.
Police allege a 32-year-old man was following and filming women walking along Grafton Street just before midnight on March 4.
CCTV operators alerted police to the man’s location and told authorities they had allegedly observed him attempting to film up “the skirt” of a woman.
The man has been charged with one count of attempted observations or recordings in breach of privacy.
He has been denied bail and will appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court on Wednesday, March 5.
