Two teenagers charged in wild security stunt at Melbourne Grand Prix
Two teens have been slapped with numerous charges and police are searching for a third man believed to be involved in a wild stunt at this year’s Melbourne Grand Prix.

Police are searching for a third man who they allege impersonated a security guard to obtain unauthorised access to the Grand Prix in Melbourne.
It’s alleged three men were dressed as security guards so they could access the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Albert Park, Melbourne’s southeast, on March 16.
Footage shared on social media showed the group of men allegedly accessing areas not permitted to the public, including VIP sections and out of bounds areas while wearing high-vis vests and red lanyards.
“We put on our fake security uniform and walked straight through the entrance, no questions asked,” the video voiceover said.
The video has since been deleted.
Two man – an 18-year-old South Melbourne man and an 18-year-old Albert Park man – have been interviewed by detectives in connection to the incident.
According to The Age, police conducted raids in multiple homes across South Melbourne and Albert Park, where the two men were subsequently arrested and charged with several offences under the Crimes Act and the Major Events Acts.
Police also seized several electronic devices during the raids, the outlet reported.
The South Melbourne man was charged with ten offences, including obtain financial advantage by deception, make false document and trespass.
The Albert Park man was charged with seven offences, which also included trespass, make false document and obtain financial advantage by deception.
The men were bailed and are set to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on June 13.
Police are now seeking information from a third man believed to be connected to the incident.
“Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to who they believe can assist with their inquiries,” the Victoria Police statement read.
