Sydney teen missing for more than a week from eastern suburbs

A young teenage girl has been missing from her home for more than a week, and there are concerns for her welfare.

A young Sydney teenager has been missing from her eastern suburbs home for more than a week.

On Monday, NSW Police issued an alert for Lahra Hartley, 14, last seen in Maroubra on Saturday, July 5.

“There are concerns for her welfare due to her young age,” a police spokesperson said.

“Lahra is described as caucasian appearance, thin build, 170cm tall, brown eyes and brown hair.

“It is not known what she may be wearing.”

Lahra spends time in the areas of Maroubra, Sylvania and Cronulla.

Lahra was last seen about 4.30pm on July 5, and her absence was reported to police a week later, on July 12.

Police want anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
