Popular servo item recalled over allergy concerns

A popular item sold at service stations and convenience stores across the country has been recalled over concerns consumers could have a reaction.

An Australian servo staple has been recalled over allergy concerns.

The Patties Food Group On the Menu roast chicken roll has been recalled over the presence of undeclared allergens.

“Any consumers who have a peanut and crustacean allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” a Food Standards Australia and New Zealand alert stated.

The product was available for sale at petrol stations and convenience stores across the country.

Consumers have been urged to return the rolls for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the alert stated.
