Two men have been charged with the murder of Adelaide man Bill Frangos whose body was discovered in his burnt-out house about five months ago.
Police allege Mr Frangos was murdered at his home on Essex St in Woodville Gardens on November 7 last year before his killers returned three hours later and set fire to his house to destroy the evidence.
CCTV captured two men in nearby streets along with a grey Holden Commodore on the night Mr Frangos died, images police released to the public last month to help identify the men they believed killed Mr Frangos.
“A man wearing a backpack was seen walking from the grey Commodore towards the Essex St house and a short time later CCTV captured (the home) erupting in flames,” a police spokesman said.
“The vision also shows what detectives believe to be the same man then running back to Ridley Grove and leaving the area in a southerly direction in the grey Commodore.”
Police arrested a man from Novar Gardens and another man from Fullham Gardens, both aged 27, on Friday.
They were charged with murder, arson and destroying human remains and are due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
“SAPOL thank the public who have come forward and provided invaluable assistance in this investigation and contributed to the arrest of the two suspects,” a police spokesman said.
