Police appeal after man ‘made anti-Semitic threats’ in hospital elevator

Police have released images of a man as part of their investigation into alleged anti-Semitic threats made inside a hospital elevator.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly made anti-Semitic threats inside the elevator of a hospital in Sydney’s south.

An unidentified man entered an elevator in St George Hospital on Princess Hwy in Kogarah at about 4.10pm on Friday, February 28, according to NSW Police.

A 28-year-old man was already in the elevator when the unknown man entered.

Police allege that during the elevator ride, the unknown man made anti-Semitic comments towards the 28-year-old.

Officers were informed of the comments and commenced inquiries into the incident, and have since released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of medium build, about 25 to 30 years old, with brown curly hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a pair of blue shorts, a grey T-shirt and black shoes.
