A man has been charged with murder after the body of a missing man was discovered in a vegetable patch at a home in a major city.

A man has been charged with murder after a missing man’s body was found in a vegetable patch at a home in a northern Melbourne suburb.
Detectives were called to a home on McLeans Rd in Bundoora about 9.45am Thursday, where they discovered a man’s body in a vegetable patch.
While the 53-year-old is yet to be formally identified, police believe he had been reported missing and was last seen in Bundoora April 2.
A 51-year-old Bundoora woman and a 40-year-old Bundoora man were arrested at the scene.
“The woman was interviewed by detectives and released,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
Overnight, the Bundoora man was charged with one count of murder.
He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
