A man has been found dead in a pool of blood in a Gold Coast carpark.

Emergency services were called to a Nerang St carpark about 6.50am on Tuesday after a man was found unconscious.

The man had significant head injuries, according to The Courier-Mail, and was declared dead at the scene.

A crime scene has reportedly been established while investigations into the circumstances of his death are under way.

Police have urged anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
