Man dies after assault inside home south of Perth

Police have issued an appeal for footage as homicide squad detectives investigate a fatal assault inside a home.

A man has died following an assault inside a home south of Perth.

Homicide squad detectives have launched an investigation after emergency services were called to a Renison Drive home in Greenfields about 1.45am on Sunday following reports an assault had taken place inside.

A man was found with serious injuries, with police and St John WA providing emergency treatment.

However, he died from his injuries.

Detectives have appealed for CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage that has captured any people or vehicles in the Renison Drive and surrounding area between the hours of 11pm on Saturday and 2.30am on Sunday.
