“Everyone’s pretty traumatised by it,” one family member told 9News.

A young girl said they ran downstairs after hearing multiple loud bangs.

A young girl held her brother’s hand and helped him jump over the flames, together.

“(She) saved her brother’s life, because she’s a hero,” a woman told 9News.

The family told 9News they don’t know the alleged offender.
