TODAY is Boxing Day, and yes that means sales. Head into Grand Central to nab a great deal.

While most stores are opening at 9am, Myer will be first to open their doors to customers from 8.30am.

Grand Central retail manager Kathleen Hart said Boxing Day was always a great time to take advantage of the post-Christmas sales.

"Our retailers are offering some terrific sales at the moment, so it's the perfect time for a little retail therapy," Ms Hart said.

Myer - Myer's Boxing Day Sale is its biggest trading day of the year and there's always excitement and anticipation leading up to it.
