IF you visit Grand Central during the upcoming school holidays, you're likely to see a variety of bird species soaring through centre court.
Grand Central marketing manager Marieke Bridgeman said the centre would host two live bird shows daily from September 23 through to October 4.
"These breathtaking shows will be on each day at 10am and 1.30pm, which we're expecting will be popular with kids and adults alike," she said.
"Specialist handlers at the shows will be providing information about each unique species featured, so it's a great opportunity to learn more about our feathered friends."
Red-tailed black cockatoos, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, Australian white ibis, Australian barn owls, masked owls and boobook owls will all be part of the performance.
Along with birds, children can also come face to face with saltwater crocodiles, pythons and shingleback skinks.
