Director Chris McAuliffe said it was a win-win for employers and employees.

"Toowoomba is expanding exponentially at the moment and so many people are looking for jobs and we are here to help people gain employment," he said.

"I get a lot of feedback from employers who have hired workers through us and there are some keys things that they are looking for.

"It's always important to be on time, not even five minutes late, make sure you dress appropriately, are enthusiastic and keep off your phone while you are working.

"If you can stick to that, then temporary or casual work could turn into something more and we would be more likely to recommend you for other jobs."

"When I have a heavy work schedule I ask for extra men and you build a rapport with the workers you employ," he said.

"Although it's only temporary work in my case, it is still helping people gain work experience that is needed for securing a more permanent position."
