Legendary Irish band Aslan will make their way to the Top End as the headlining act of the 2025 NT Irish Music Festival.
The July 12 concert forms the Darwin leg of a four show Australian tour, with the band also playing Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
Formed in 1982 in Dublin, Aslan are known for their Celtic rock sound, blending rock and roll with traditional celtic music and instruments.
Taking their name from the lion in the Chronicles of Narnia, they have released six studio albums and toured all over the world.
The NT Irish Music Festival is organised by the NT Irish Association, and mixes music with Irish dancing performed by Top End dance schools.
Festival-goers can partake in Irish food and drink, including plenty of Guinness and Magners, while children can enjoy the face painting and petting zoo.
Tickets for the festival, which will be held at Darwin Ski Club on July 12, are on sale now.
