SCHOOL holidays are over, but if you are a parent of a little one who you are looking to keep occupied there are a number of activities they can take part in.
Grand Central is making sure there is something for all non-school aged children, with activities running all month.

Mini Making Rainbows Class
Tuesday, October 8 and October 22 at 9.30am and 10.10am
Visit Tiny Town on level two near Kidstuff and join in the Making Rainbows music and movement program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework for newborns to children up to five years.
Parents, babies and toddlers are invited to join a class.
Cost is $5 per child and bookings can be made through Eventbrite by searching Mini Making Rainbows tickets.
Sessions are 20 minutes long.
Sensory Friendly Movie: The Angry Birds Movie 2
Sunday October 20, 10.30am
Visit BCC Cinemas Grand Central for a sensory friendly screening of The Angry Birds Movie 2.
Held monthly on a Sunday, these screenings allow families living with autism and other sensory needs to enjoy their favourite films in a safe and accepting environment where kids are free to get up, move around, shout or sing.
The lights are dimmed, sound is lowered and fire exits are monitored to make it comfortable for the whole family.
Tickets are $6.
Storytime with QBD Books: The Gruffalo
Thursday October 24, 10am to 11am
Join QBD Books at Tiny Town for a reading of the children's classic, The Gruffalo.
There is no need to pre-book this session.
Cleo The Clown
Monday October 28, 10.30am to 11.30am
Join Cleo The Clown at Tiny Town for a morning of learning and laughter.
Through the use of puppets, props, music and movement, Cleo brings to life educational topics for children in a fun and quirky way.
