Here are 11 Toowoomba cafes where residents can escape the miserable wet weather for a nice, warm cup.

1. The Finch

IT'S all stations go at the Ruthven St cafe, which is open this Toowoomba Show Holiday from 7am to 11am.

Head down for a bargain banh mi, a Fonzie Abbott espresso and other sweet and savoury delights.

2. Bunker Espresso

IF the rain is getting you down, Bunker Espresso has got your back.

The Margaret St cafe is open form 7am - 12pm. 

3. Milk and Honey Espresso Bar

PUBLIC holiday? No problem.

Milk and Honey Espresso Bar will be open and serving up all your favourites from 6am to 5pm.

4. The Bungalow and Basket  

NOTHING stands between The Bungalow and Basket and its homemade salted caramel.

They'll see you in cyclone rain, they'll see you on show holiday and raise their salted caramel biscotti to you.

The cafe near Bell St Mall is open from  8am-4pm.

5. The Angel Cafe

DROP in to the South St cafe for one of its house-roasted coffees, an all-day breakfast or a huge range of teas and cakes.

The cafe is open from 8am-4pm. 

6. Red Bench Cafe

CONSIDERING its head barista is from Melbourne with all its temperamental weather, it's no surprise the cafe on Margaret and Mary Sts is open from  6.30am to noon. 

7. The Vintage Cafe

The Ruthven and Long Sts cafe is open until 2pm. 

Get in quick from some of its maple-glazed thick-cut bacon and all-day trendy breakfasts.

8. Piccolo Papa

 THE favourite pizzeria at High St Shopping Centre is open from 5pm to 9pm. 

Its new menu features a pizza called Sophia.

Contrary to her siblings, she is square shaped because she has an Italian fontina cheese stuffed crust.

Then she is topped with fresh Italian mortadella salami and pistachios. 

9. Park House Cafe

THE popular Margaret St cafe is open from 7am-8.30pm.

10. Cafe 63 

IT'S trading as normal at the Eastville hang-out.

Please take a seat, make yourself comfortable, anywhere's fine, someone will be right with you.

11. The Cafe at Abbie Lane 

The Highfields cafe will open, but after a sleep-in, of course. 

Escape the wet with delectable homemade meals, cakes and drinks in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

The cafe is open from 10am.
