1. Toowoomba Fashion Festival
The Armitage Centre is set to come alive on Saturday afternoon as designers get their moment in the spotlight to showcase a range of fleeting trends.
The event will begin at 1pm. Get your tickets here.
2. Glennie School Fair
Discover the talents of Glennie students at Sunday’s fair, with a range of market stalls, carnival rides, farm animals and more to keep all ages entertained.
The event will begin at 11am on March 23.
3. Vera Lacaze Kindy 60th Anniversary
Join Vera Lacaze Memorial Kindergarten for their 60th anniversary celebrations which will include a BBQ, live music, Indigenous art and much more.
The event will begin at 10am on March 22.
4. Look to the stars
Grab a jumper and head to UniSQ’s Gumbi Gumbi Gardens for an evening of stargazing from 6.45pm on Saturday, March 22.
5. Sing out loud
Singers from across Queensland will descend on the Darling Downs for the only Regional Gathering in 2025 as part of Sing Australia.
The event will be held at the Community Baptist Church auditorium at 100 Glenvale Rd at 1pm on March 22.
6. Steam Train Adventure
Take a nostalgic journey through the Darling Downs countryside between Pittsworth and Brookstead on Saturday morning.

7. Trail run
Join Top of the Range Adventure Trail Run on Sunday morning for a scenic event at Picnic Point. The event is open to runners of all abilities, whether first time or seasoned.
The event will begin at 7.30am on March 23.
8. Sunset Sessions
There’s nothing more spectacular than watching the sun set over the Lilyvale Valley, nestled among the vines at Rosalie House.
Warm up by the campfire, enjoy music, and indulge in a delicious gourmet tapas or share plate. And of course, a glass of wine in hand. Bring along the whole family to experience an unforgettable evening.
The winery is open all weekend, with the Sunset Sessions running from 3-6pm.
9. Picnic in the park
Grab a picnic blanket and your family and friends and head to one of the region’s picturesque parks, with the likes of Laurel Bank Park, Queens Park, Picnic Point, Queensland Rose Garden or Ravensbourne National Park.
10. Markets
Stock up on fresh produce and homemade goodies for your weekend celebrations at one of Toowoomba’s quality markets.
Saturday: Toowoomba Farmers’ Market is as 27 Lindsay St, East Toowoomba (near the windmills at Cobb Co Museum) from 7am to 12pm.
Sunday: the Toowoomba PCYC Market is at 219 James St from 7am to 12.30pm.
