THE Chronicle's Garden For Good has launched, with us inviting you to celebrate the work of the region's incredible green thumbs, as well as community kindness.
Garden for Good was created as an alternative to The Chronicle Garden Competition as a way to keep residents, visitors and our gardeners safe in these uncertain times.
Organisers entrusted the help of industry expert, horticultural and sustainability writer, speaker and educator, Claire Bickle to select 10 featured gardens which fostered a feeling of community and wellbeing.
Ten gardens have now been chosen and are featuring in the Garden For Good 2020 Souvenir Guide which was inside today's The Chronicle newspaper.
There is also a digital display online at www.thechronicle.com.au/gardenforgood where readers will gain a further insight into the gardens with extra photos and video footage.
You can see galleries of our featured gardens below, follow the links to read more about them.
For $10, readers can also purchase a Garden For Good calendar and the Secrets of Toowoomba Gardeners book at participating newsagents.
The Garden For Good launch coincides with the start of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers which runs from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 27.
