Viral fail: OnlyFans model's 'looked at' stunt backfires

A woman has stirred controversy after filming herself in a supermarket checkout line, seemingly with the intent of recording a man behind her who glanced in her general direction.

The video, which has since gone viral, has sparked debate as many pointed out that he was simply waiting his turn and not being creepy.

The awkward 'look counter'

The 36-second clip was posted by Katie Miller, who takes her time moving through the self-checkout process while having her phone set up to film herself.

Miller added text that reads "Look Counter" and tallied up seven times the man "looked" her way.

Throughout the video, she rolls her eyes and giggles uncomfortably as she watches the man via the footage on her phone.

"That's what you guys are, just a couple of meat bags," she says out loud at the end of the clip while packing her shopping bags at the self-checkout kiosk.

"Infuriated me"

Critics were quick to defend the man, noting he was simply waiting his turn for the self-checkout kiosk.

"He is literally waiting on people to hurry up so he can check out with his food. Holding up checkout to make a TikTok should be a criminal offence," tweeted X user @Malcolm_fleX48, who posted the clip to his feed.

She has a camera out, recording him while he waits in line, and he is the bad guy. I hope she is banned from that store," replied one user.

"Yeah, this is absolutely heinous behaviour," Malcolm agreed.

"It's 2024, of course this woman makes a video suggesting that she doesn't like the attention, and then posts the video to social media in order to get attention," pointed out another.

"This infuriated me to no end," admitted one viewer, while another speculated, "That is one insecure person."

Then many pointed out that her camera setup, seemingly to film content while checking out, might have understandably prompted irritated gazes in her direction.

"That man is thinking, can you hurry up," mused one user.

"His mind: is she still paying? Looks like she's just standing there. I wonder if she's on some drugs," suggested another.
