This is how Peter Andre gets ready in the morning
STEAM showers, coconut oil, hair straighteners, caffeine - and that’s all before 9am. It takes a lot of work to look like Peter Andre.

PETER Andre’s first marriage to glamour model Katie Price might have left more of an impression on him than we thought.
In an interview for The Guardian’s How I Get Ready series, the pop singer has outlined his morning routine — and it takes an impressively organised 75 minutes.
“If I have to be somewhere in the morning, the actual getting ready takes 15 minutes. But I need an hour before that to put on my steam shower, go downstairs and sit and have a coffee in silence,” he explained.
“I have a double espresso and a glass of water, like the Mediterraneans, to get that caffeine kick and hydration, and then I’m raging, ready to go. At that point my steam shower will have heated up, but I only go in for a short time. I love a good steam, except in summer.
“I also use coconut oil as moisturiser. You can do anything with it — eat it, cook with it, use it on your skin. It’s fantastic,” he says.
It might not come as a surprise that Andre spends a considerable amount of time figuring out what to wear each morning.
“I cannot pick my clothes out the night before,” he says. “I could pick out a million things the night before, but if I wake up and I don’t feel as good as I did the day before, I won’t want to wear any of it.
“I need to walk in and go, “I feel like wearing that today,” and, bang, I’m on it.”
In case you were wondering — or if you remember the head tossing of that Gimme Little Sign video — Andre confirmed to The Guardian that he does straighten his hair regularly (or gets someone else to do it if it’s a work event). Given that he hates mirrors - he told thecosmediccoach.com that “Honestly, I almost wish mirrors were not invented. We’d be the happiest people on earth. Mirrors came along and kicked us right in the face” - we’re not quite sure how he manages that one.
But speaking of Gimme Little Sign, Andre admits that “when I was younger my workout routine was ridiculous. I had abs of steel. Trying to maintain that at 41? It’s like, Nah, give me a break. I stay trim, yes, but ripped? No. I only miss my abs when I’m on the beach.”
Andre is no stranger to the beauty world, openly stating that his nose job “changed my life”. But with several fragrance lines to his name, his interest was sparked before fame struck, when he was working as a sales assistant at Myer.
“All I wanted to be in was men’s aftershave,” he told thecosmediccoach.com.“I loved Azaro, Armani, I loved all of those brands when they first came out and I couldn’t wait to push them on people... When I got signed up 20 years ago one of the things I said was that one day I’d love to bring men’s aftershaves out. Years later the opportunity came along.”
