'So clever': Mum shares hack for travelling with kids

"This will save me money and will be so much easier to store!"

Camping in NSW just a whole lot pricier

Travelling with little ones can be a feat to say the least.

Not only do you have your children to worry about, but also all of the bits and bobs that come along with them.

One Aussie mum has taken to Facebook to share her number one travel hack - and it might just save you some money.

“Worked perfectly for our pram!”

An Aussie mum has taken to Facebook to share her hack for ensuring your pram is returned to you safely after having to stow it away.

"My little travel hack that worked perfectly for our pram," she said.

"An $8 Kmart suitcase cover, which we slid over our pram to protect the material whilst we checked it under the plane.

"I saw other mums with garbage bags over their car seats and prams so this might be useful to someone else."

Kmart’s Large Suitcase Cover is advertised as being able to fit 26-28 inch luggage, and comes in just about every colour of the rainbow.

This means that not only will you save money by not having to purchase a more expensive cover (and potentially on replacing a damaged pram), it will also look cute doing it.

“Very smart”

Mums in the comments were obsessed with the idea, calling it ‘so clever’.

"This is actually so clever!" said one user.

"Very smart," another agreed.

"So clever!" said a third.

"Thank you! Mine thankfully fits into the overhead (from what I’ve read) but I was still going to put it into a carry bag just in case, which would’ve cost me $70 from Bugaboo!" said one mum.

"This will save me money and will be so much easier to store compared to the bag."

The benefits are endless!

Others said they’d been doing it already - suggesting some other ways to make use of the hack.

"We've done this with car seats before too! Especially fold up booster ones,” said one commenter.

"I did this for my pram and car seat! Works so well," another agreed.

"Went out and got one to cover our capsule for storage," said a third person.

"Was a juggle but managed to get it on and stoked with the end result."
