Mums are using a Kmart $29 soft play triangle as a dupe for a $200 sex wedge

"Soft play is now a hard yes," said one frugal and frisky mum while another pointed out that it's "More bang for your buck."

How to talk to your kids about sexual orientation & gender identity

A frugal and frisky mum has shared a secret she stumbled across in Kmart’s children’s toy section and it’s got the Mums on A Budget Facebook page heating up like never before.

While wandering the aisles, she came across the $29 Soft Play Triangle and thought it looked similar to a $190 sex position wedge she’d been in the market for.

'Kmart always comes out with the goods'

The woman shared the unconventional dupe with the group, writing: “Ladies, Kmart always comes out with the goods. It’s a save of over $100.”

She then posted a photo of the Soft Play Triangle, which is designed for crawling, climbing, sliding and imaginative play for kids aged three-eight. The colour scheme is red, blue and yellow and its dimensions are 61 cm x 21 cm x 41 cm.

Then, the mum shared a screenshot of the more expensive Liberator Microfibre Sex Position Wedge, which is currently on sale for $190 on  Lovehoney. It’s designed to allow for a wider range of motion and to make certain sex positions more accessible.

While the deep purple colour scheme might be slightly more adult, the wedge looks virtually identical to the shape of the soft play triangle. Even the dimensions are similar at 61 cm x 18 cm x 36 cm.

'Now we know what that 4.9-star rating is really about'

So it’s little wonder why mums went absolutely wild for the dupe, which sees a staggering saving of $161.

The post now has 2.4k likes and over 470 hilarious comments.

“I'm never going to be able to look at that triangle the same way ever again,” one user admitted.

Another quipped, “That's more bang for your buck.”

Then this user chimed in, saying, “I have found my kind of Mums!”

“I never think to look in the kids' section for adult stuff haha,” shared one woman.

Someone else joked, “We really need a Kmart after-dark group,” while another said, “So this is why Kmart is open so late…”

Another pointed out, “Now we know what that 4.9-star rating is really about.”

And this mum wrote, “Soft play is now a hard yes.” She added: “This has to be the best Kmart hack to date!”

'Mum, why is my soft triangle toy in your bed?'

Then this user claimed that “They’re going to be sold out sooo fast now.”

Another shared, “From now on if I see these in ladies' carts and they don’t have kids with them my mind is INSTANTLY going to think it’s for fun time reasons.”

A different user commented, “‘Mum, why is my soft triangle toy in your bed?'”

While this person said, “My daughter has this and seeing people using this as an alternative is making me extremely uncomfortable 😂.”

Another concluded, “I'm literally about to buy one tonight for part of my son's bday present. Might need to buy two.”

'Who said kids had all the fun?'

"I have tried the triangle, it’s actually quite comfortable and puts you in the right position for adult fun," the woman who posted about it told Kidspot.

"It’s easy to clean and you don’t have to hide it as no one would guess what it’s for."
