Selfish parking act at ski fields enrages Aussies

"Call the number on the side and tell them they're getting a fine. They will race back," someone suggested.

Aussie ski pass price surge revealed

A post in a popular Snowy Mountains Facebook group has sparked outrage among Aussies, with many frustrated over a ski-goer's 'entitled' parking act.

The post, which was shared in the Snowy Mountains Uncensored group, showed a silver dual-cab ute taking up two prime car spots in front of a busy ski resort's tube station.

"Nailed it!"

The ute, which appeared to belong to a business, had a sticker on the back that read: "Nailed it!"

The poster called out this irony in the caption, saying: "That you did. Shout out for taking two spots in the front row at the tube!!!

"Legend."

The ute was jutting out among the row of neatly parked cars, and it didn't take long for commenters to call out the driver for their blatant disregard of parking etiquette.

"Total knob"

One user claimed that they drove "the quintessential 'I'm a total knob' vehicle."

And someone else joked: "They've left enough room for you to lean your skis against the sides of their vehicle while you take off your jacket... very good of them."

This sentiment was echoed by others who suggested other ways to get back at the careless driver.

"Call the number on the side and tell them they're getting a fine. They will race back," one said, while someone else asked the poster to share the person's number so the group could spam them with calls.

However some people didn't think this issue was worth getting riled up over.

"If that upsets your life, like really, I think you need a therapist. Take it easy, it's okay," said one.

"I'd be careful about outing them on social media," someone else warned, adding that doing so was a "slippery slope."

Someone added an update a few hours later saying: "Just walked past and he's still parked there. No scratches... yet."
