"An entire cup of coffee"
In the clip, Dawn explained that she decided to put them in the bath after her toddler accidentally spilled her coffee all over the blocks. But she wasn't expecting what happened next.
She wrote over the footage: "POV your toddler spills an entire cup of coffee into their Megablocks bin and now you're stirring them around in your bathtub realising how dirty they actually are."
"At first I was like "ooh, this is pretty" then I went real quick from that to (sick emoji)," she captioned the post.
Viewers were horrified as the mum began to stir the blocks around and the water soon went black from all the dirt they had attracted since she purchased them.
The clip posted to her TikTok account @dawno.saur quickly went viral with over 1 million views and 38k likes.

Another commented: "I didn’t need to see this *turns on tub faucet."
A third added: "I know right I just did my grandaughter's toys was shocked."
And there was this suggestion: "This happened to me. Found out they are dishwasher safe!", with another viewer adding, "You can clean them in the dishwasher. I used to do that to clean my son's."
Finally, we loved this one: "I used to put my kids blocks in a pillowcase then in the washing machine on low or no spin."
