'I remarried my ex and now I'm mum to the kid he had with another woman'

A mum has embraced the daughter her ex-husband had with another woman during the time they were divorced.

She divided opinions as she spoke candidly about how they rekindled their relationship.

Oriana Lindsay (@oriana95_) boasts over 21,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares life as a mother of four.

She encouraged others to hold onto hope after remarrying her “best friend” following their divorce.

She shared a photo taken at age 16 as she revealed they had two kids together when they got married at age 19.

“If you would’ve told me that seven years later we would divorce, it would completely shatter me,” she said.

“If you would’ve told me three years later we would get remarried in a Waffle House, I probably wouldn’t have believed you."

“If you would’ve told me I would become a bonus momma to the sweetest girl, I still wouldn’t believe you.

“If you would’ve told me a month before our wedding ceremony I would find out I’m pregnant, I would think you are lying.

“If you would’ve told me we then had the wedding of our dreams, I still wouldn’t believe you.”

Oriana she shared a family photo and vowed to never stop sharing her love story.

The mom revealed in a previous video that it took her and her husband two years to get back together.

She argued that a self-help book or blogger wouldn’t have been able to help repair their marriage.

“We both tried to move on and tried to basically play pretend in our lives and it wasn’t happening,” she said.

“We always were supposed to be together.

“And for all the people in my DMs [direct messages] and my comments asking help me, what should I do, my husband, and my wife…

“Pray for them, pray for their heart, pray for their mind.

“If you don’t believe in God let me tell you something.

“Let’s pray together because God is the only reason that I was brought back to my ex-husband.

“There is no other way, no other supernatural power, it was God period.”

“I’m not kidding when I say I will pray for you,” she added.

The mom said she has a “great” relationship with the mother of the child her husband had after their divorce.

Thousands of people liked both videos and thanked Oriana for her words of encouragement.

However, other viewers admitted they wouldn’t have remarried their spouse after they had a child with someone else.

“Hell no dude, she’s stronger than I could ever be! The constant reminder,” one person wrote.

“Seems like she took him back after he divorced her, nah I wouldn’t,” another commented.

“Would he take you back if you had another child by another man?” a third quipped.
