With each year that passes, homemade Christmas tree décor becomes less traditional and something more unique.
Each handmade ornament and decoration that we make or is gifted has its own story. And as the Christmas tree is set up there’s a conversation about memories.
“Remember making this?”
“Look! It’s the dough ornament that Fiona and Alex made eight years back. Don’t eat it!”
For today’s Christmas activity we’ll be converting an LED into an ornament.
Let’s get started.

Activity
Using acrylic marker pens illustrate an LED candle light to look like a reindeer’s face. When creating the face consider the LED flickering light to be the nose.
Curve two pipe cleaners into a set of antlers, and then twist together. Glue the antlers to the candle rim, above the painted face.
Tie a ribbon loop. Glue ribbon to candle base, behind antlers.
Hang up reindeer ornament and switch on the candle light.
