'Oh, my eyes!' X-rated Shrek scene that viewers have missed

No, they're not, but that's what seems to happen in an early scene of Shrek around the same time that tune is playing. And apparently we all missed it.

Lord Farquaad is very happy to see Princess Fiona

A cheeky scene from the much-loved Dreamworks flick has caught fans' attention for an X-rated moment involving the film's antagonist Lord Farquaad. 

The blink-and-you-miss-it moment sees Lord Farquaad lying in bed, asking the magic mirror to show him a picture of Princess Fiona, the locked-up royal he plans to whisk away into the sunset and live happily ever after. 

Happy indeed!

In the clip, which has recently been circulated on TikTok, we see the shirtless Lord blissfully sipping on a martini before appearing embarrassed and pulling up his bed sheets to further cover himself.

But it's not his hairy chest he's covering.

A bulge appears underneath the bedding, which points to one thing. Yes, an erection... I'm already sorry I said it.

The X-rated moment is leaving us traumatised

Needless to say, the moment, which many viewers have missed after all these years, is leaving them rather traumatised. 

TikToker @kathy_martinez05 recently shared the clip asking her followers "did anyone catch that?"

As it turns out, they didn't. Until now. 

“I will never forgive you for this,” one shocked fan responded. 

Others said that it has ruined their childhood favourite. 

"I know what I will bring up in my next therapy session now," another added. 

“I’m not at all innocent but I am traumatised after this and understand it now," another gasped. 

Even Reddit has blown up over the same thing, with some appearing to applaud the cheeky snippet. 

"Lol wow. Naughty naughty Dreamworks," someone wrote. 

"Just when I thought Shrek couldn't get any better," another added.

Crazy theory about who Lord Farquaad’s parents are

It's not the first time Lord Farquaad has made the news. Just last year, some wacky fan theories about the character were doing the rounds. One in particular about who the Lord looks like. 

Podcasters 'Just The Nobody's' wanted to explore Lord Farquaad's family tree - and they were convinced they were onto a winner. 

"Let's start by talking about who Lord Farquaad's mother is... there's a theory that his mum is Snow White.

"We see in Shrek he has the magic mirror on the wall. The same magic mirror that Snow White has, and that's exactly how he got the magic mirror. From his mum, Snow White!"

"They both have black hair," Okay, that's not so uncommon.

But then they point out that his outfit choice might not be an accident, either: "They both have the same puffy sleeves, with the same [tear drop] cutouts."

So, who's his dad? 

"It's one of the seven dwarfs!" they continue.

"So there's only one dwarf that has the most in common with Lord Farquaad. If you look at what he wears, you will see that he's always in red. He wears a black belt. He's literally wearing what Grumpy wears! Lord Farquaad is wearing a mix of what Snow White wears and what Grumpy wears." 

"Lord Farquaad is evil, so it makes sense that Grumpy would make an evil child."
