New Vietnamese restaurant opens in Toowoomba

TOOWOOMBA'S Vietnamese food scene is expanding, with the most recent restaurant opening its doors earlier this month.

Original Saigon, which is located on Ruthven St, opened its doors on November 16.

The new restaurant's menu features Vietnamese favourites such as banh mi, pho, spring rolls, rice paper rolls, skewers, sizzling beef and more.

In a post to their Facebook page, a spokesperson for the family-run restaurant said they served authentic Vietnamese food.

"The head chef has dedicated decades of her entire life to the authentic flavours of Vietnam and now presents to you the very best of Vietnamese food in Toowoomba, with meals full of flavour and signature recipe dishes," the spokesperson said.

"Nothing is too hard for the chef when it comes to flavour.

"Our restaurant is always happy to create different dishes that suit our value customers' taste."

The restaurant is open daily from 10am to 9pm and is located at 286 Ruthven St.

The store also offers take away and home deliveries.
