RENOWNED Australian fashion and lifestyle brand Sportscraft has announced a new ambassador, award-winning actor Naomi Watts.
Following the brand’s centennial celebrations in 2014, Sportscraft has continued its commitment to Australian style by hooking up with credible talent.
Naomi, who starred in this season’s celluloid hits, Birdman and St Vincent, and was a fashion hit on the award season red carpet is fronting the brand’s autumn campaign.
Sportscraft has a history of connecting with important Australian names with some of the brands most treasured accolades including being the first brand to win the Australian Wool Board’s ‘pure new wool’ license.
“Sportscraft represents all the things that are a part of me: a working woman, a mother, someone who wants to look classic and well put together,” said Watts.
“We’re proud to have Naomi as our new ambassador. She is a celebrated Australian whose timeless style and sophistication perfectly embodies the Sportscraft brand,” said Adrian Jones CEO of Sportscraft.
The label is also the official formal wear supplier for the Wallabies and the supplier of the opening ceremony and formal uniforms for the 2016 Australian Olympic Team at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
In 2014, Sportscraft marked its 100 year milestone with a specially curated group of Aussies including Rachel Griffiths, Ita Buttrose and Michael Klim but it’s the association with Naomi Watts that will give the label added style cred.
The understated new campaign with Watts (who was born in the UK but grew up in Australia) signifies the brand’s ongoing dedication to stylish Australians.
