'Lil bush': New mum shocked by extremely detailed receipt for Brazilian wax

From unnecessary comments on her postpartum body, graphic descriptions of her pubic hair and detailed styling notes, we're not convinced the customer was ever meant to see this. 👀

A new mum wanted to give her downstairs area a bit of postpartum TLC but left the waxing salon feeling more self-conscious than when she came in. 

Taking to Reddit, the woman explained how at the end of her appointment, she noticed that the receipt's payment breakdown was incredibly detailed.

From unnecessary descriptions about her body shape, pubic hair and desired styling, we're not convinced the customer was ever meant to see these notes. 👀

"Leave a lil bush"

Posting in the r/funny subreddit, the mum shared a photo of the receipt with the caption, "Ladies, are they always this, uh, descriptive when taking down waxing instructions?"

The receipt then detailed a full list of services and read:

• Brazillian six weeks or more
• 1/2 leg wax
• Six months, postpartum, plus-sized woman
• Italian thick, coarse hair
• 1/2 leg from upper knee to thigh
• Clean up labia but leave a lil bush
• Labia to butt clean up

Despite the thorough and somewhat graphic descriptions, most of the items had '$0' written next to them, which begs the question - why write them at all?

Regardless of the reason, commenters still had a good chuckle in the comments and were quick to crack jokes about the situation.

"Lil Bush is your street name now"

"Lil Bush is your street name now. I don’t make the rules," one person joked.

Another suggested: "Bring this receipt with you on dates." Someone replied to that by saying, "Always ask to see the Brazilian receipt before entrees."

"Labia2butt is the new all-girl reboot of boyz 2 men," quipped a third user. 

And a fourth pointed out, "Italian Thick Course Hair sounds like a breed of dog."

Meanwhile, others swore off ever getting waxed after seeing this. "I’ve never been waxed and this makes me scared to do it... " one woman commented, adding, "My description would be like: Full jungle clean up with machete assistance needed. Cleaned up half… gave up LOL."

Then one fellow beauty therapist claimed that it was probably a mistake, explaining, "As someone in the biz… they have their settings wrong. We keep notes, but I have never printed them on a receipt. Don’t feel self-conscious, all we actually see is skin and hair and when we’re done, there’s no more hair where you don’t want hair if it’s done well."
