A new Bunnings store has opened in New South Wales — and it looks very different to your average outlet.

The new $80 million Pymble store — in Sydney’s upper north shore — opened to the public this week.

Instead of the traditional green warehouse style shoppers know and love, this story boasts some unique architectural features, including the shape and design of the roof, coloured exterior glass and extensive landscaping such as a boardwalk around part of the site.

“With its unique exterior design, it’s unlike any other Bunnings in NSW,” Brendan O’Hehir, Pymble complex manager told news.com.au.

He said the team are already getting lots of great feedback from customers who have been really excited about the opening.

“Customers have been telling us they love the design and how nice and bright the store is, and they’ve really loving that they can get everything they need for their weekend projects so close to home.”

The hardware store has always had a variety of different store formats within its network with the Pymble store's’s unique architectural design developed to suit the local area.
