Kmart fans raving about $99 Wi-Fi projector

Savvy shoppers are raving about a cheap version of a very expensive home gadget – that some have said is a “pretty amazing find”.

Kmart lovers are raving about a new item that has just hit shelves that can transform your home into a movie theatre.

The discount superstore recently started selling a 2-in-1 Wi-Fi Projector with DVD Player for $99 – a fraction of the price of some the leading tech giant’s versions.

Despite only becoming a new addition to Kmart’s electronic offerings just recently, shoppers are already raving about the find.

On TikTok, one delighted customer has shared a video showing off the device, declaring it is a “pretty amazing find”.

“Introducing the $99, online only #Kmart projector with built in #DVD , #Wi-Fi screen mirroring, 2 #HDMI ports & #bluetooth,” user @seanjbryan captioned the clip.

Sean then goes on to show off the black gadget in the video that has been viewed more than 560,000 times since it was shared last week.

“Here she is, the $99 Kmart projector, DVD, check,” his commentary begins.

“You can attach two HDMI devices and stream over Wi-Fi.”

Sean then explained he uses his against a white wall at home which gives him a “perfect” image.

In another video Sean showed off the quality, revealing the wall was now a “cinema screen”.

“Kmart in Australia has really stepped it up,” Sean added.

The video sparked a huge response, with many saying they couldn’t believe Kmart had a projector.

“That’s so clear for a projector,” one said.

“Doesn’t look bad for the price,” another added.

“This looks great,” someone else said.

In the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page someone else shared their love of the budget device.

One mum shared a photo of her set up in the backyard, writing the “sound is pretty good too”.

Another said: “I have it and love it … I am actually super impressed with it considering its price.”

While many said their “kids love it”.

Despite the excitement, some pointed out the projector – which needs Chrome Cast to stream things like Netflix and Stan – is currently out of stock.

“I hope Kmart bring this back,” one person wrote on Facebook.

While another blamed the TikTok for making it so popular.
