Linen vests are everywhere at the moment and Kmart has joined the ranks with its Sleeveless Button Front Waistcoat that retails for $20.

The shirt comes in three different prints — black, white and pinstripe — in sizes 6 to 20.

It has proved incredibly popular among shoppers, with fans sharing the various ways that they would style the outfit.

Jodie Stuart said at just $20 the vest was a “steal” and she specifically went into her local store to try it on after seeing it on social media.

“I need this. I don’t own a vest and I’ve been wanting one,” she said.

Initially, she tried it on with a yellow skirt that she thought was meant to be low rise but she didn’t love the fit on herself.

Instead, she opted to pair in with denim shorts — a classic look.

Meanwhile, Melissa Jade and Caitlin Anne tried their hand at creating a Spring look that didn’t break the bank, creating an outfit with the trending item for under $60.

She did a very similar look with Jodie, but instead of a yellow skirt she opted for yellow, trousers and mesh ballet flats.

A Kmart spokesperson said customers love the store’s linen offerings.
