One of tennis’s most recognisable WAGs has made a major fashion statement while attending the Australian Open.

Morgan Riddle, the partner of American tennis champion Taylor Fritz, bucked the neutral Melbourne fashion trend by wearing a $250 bright red set to the Australian Open.

“The style in Melbourne is very neutral so of course I’m like, ‘let’s wear the loudest colour possible,” the 27-year-old said in a “get ready with me” video posted to TikTok

However, she said that in her opinion, the “Aussie girl uniform” was a tank top and maxi skirt, which was what she opted to wear for the match.

“In that case, I’m definitely not being a trendsetter,” she said.

Riddle finished the outfit with white Tony Bianco heels saying “people must be new” if they didn’t expect her to wear them throughout the match day. She accessorised with two-tone metal jewellery and an oversized black bag.

Many social media users praised the look.

“Game, set, slay,” one commented.

One added: “You’re literally Australia’s chosen queen.”

Another declared red was definitely Riddle’s colour.

Riddle’s set was from Sydney-based business I Am Delilah. She took to her Instagram stories to say she “literally ordered the entire website” and was “obsessed”.

Riddle is known for capturing attention while at the Australian Open, after meeting world number four Fritz on exclusive dating app Raya in 2020.

She rose to online fame while attending the prestigious Melbourne tournament in 2022 after a “get ready with me” video went viral.

The TikTok video of Riddle trying on outfits has since been viewed more than 1.5 million times, and has evolved into a budding influencer career. She for two years running she has hosted video series “Wimbledon Threads”, a video series partnering with Wimbledon itself on fashion at the London grand slam.

At 2024’s Australian Open tournament she was the star attraction at the Bondi Sands Tennis Club, held on the rooftop of the QT.
