Abbie Chatfield flashed her G-string and people aren’t happy about it

The TV host and outspoken public figure has riled up fans after sharing a “surprise” photo with fans that some claim is too “sexual”.

One thing Abbie would ‘never’ do

Abbie Chatfield has given fans an unexpected “surprise” in the form of an intimate new photo – but some fans have been “offended” by the racy snap.

The former reality star turned TV host shared two photos of herself posing alongside her non-binary bestie Kathie Ebbs.

In the first image, Chatfield can be seen posing on a brown leather sofa wearing a blue and yellow tartan miniskirt and the matching shirt.

She’s styled a black bra underneath the top which has been worn unbuttoned.

“Swipe 4 a surprise,” she has captioned the post, prompting her 455,000 followers to view the next photo.

In the next snap, the pair can be seen in different poses, Ebbs looking directly into the camera as Chatfield glances to the side.

However, this time her both legs have been positioned up on the couch, revealing her leopard print undies, made by Australian lingerie brand Chouchou Intimates.

It appears the star is wearing the brand’s Frankie G-string, which retails for $27.95, but the animal print undies also come in brief version, priced at $29.95.

The raunchy image, shot on a traditional film camera, has however upset a large number of social media users who labelled it “offensive” and “overtly sexual”.

“Why why why [this] really turns people off,” one follower claimed.

“Good grief,” another snarled, as several people snared: “Close your legs.”

Others speculated Chatfield would be “embarrassed” by her social media antics one day, adding the image was “distressing”.

“What a role model,” one sarcastic comment read.

But many defended the outspoken public figure and laughed at the “fragility” of those who were upset by the photo.

“I just love how she stirs all the easily offended,” one said.

“Cannot imagine the absolute state of distress some of these commenters would be in if they went to the beach,” someone else scoffed.

As one lamented: “If you don’t like it, hit unfollow.”

Many praised the snaps, describing them as “hot” and “unreal”.

“Queer royalty,” one commended, as another simply stated: “YAS.”

The “sexy” snaps have also had a positive effect on the small Australian lingerie brand the star was wearing after Chatfield tagged them in her post.

Tina Grasso, who launched Chouchou Intimates launched from her kitchen table in 2019, told news.com.au loyal customers have been “very excited” to see Chatfield in the undies.

“We noticed the post after a few people DM’d us sharing their excitement that Abbie was wearing us,” she said.

“We are thrilled Abbie loves our brand. She has organically promoted us multiple times and it’s so nice to see that she genuinely loves our pieces.

“Since she shared the photo, we’ve noticed uplift in following to our IG page, we are still a growing brand so flattered that someone like Abbie would support us.”
