The National Gallery of Victoria’s (NGV) upcoming Triennial will see 100 works from 120 artists, designers and collectives flood all four floors of Melbourne’s preeminent museum. Opening December 2, the Triennial kicked off this week with the NGV's annual gala, where Australian celebrities and creatives took to the red carpet to show their support for the blockbuster event.
From Abbey Lee in honoured designer Schiaparelli, who features in the exhibition for a special Australian first for the brand, to Liam Hemsworth in Giorgio Armani with Gabriella Brooks in Loewe on his arm, stars were stepping out to celebrate the incredible collection of works. Elvis star Olivia deJonge made a stop back home, and models Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Jessica Gomes and Charlee Fraser bought glamour and glitz with their shimmering dresses.
