Aldi Australia customers are excited over a retro item that will only set them back $129 – as it hits the shelves today.

Aldi Australia customers are excited over a retro item that will only set them back $129.

The German supermarket chain released its Retro Turntable on December 17 as part of its Special Buys.

It comes complete with three record playing speeds, Bluetooth, AUX input and integrated speakers.

However, the Aldi item is only is stores while stocks last – so customers will have to get in quick to nab one.

Social media users immediately fell in love with the item, with many thinking it would be a great Christmas gift.

“This is awesome,” one person said simply.

One tagged their friend and jokingly said: “In case you want to buy me a Chrissy present.”

“I’ve got all of grandads old records that I’d love to play.”

One stunned person just wrote “OMG” and added a heart eyes emoji.

Aldi offered the record player last year as well.

It’s not the first retro-inspired Special Buys Aldi has released in 2022.

Last month, the supermarket offered a pair of rollerskates as part of the Special Buys program.
