“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection”
Since the first trailer dropped back in early January, we’ve known the general vibe of Meghan’s new show. It’s a candid, lifestyle-centric show where she takes us through some of her personal tips and tricks.
Though it looks like we start in the kitchen (reminiscent of similar celebrity cooking shows like Selena + Chef and Cooking with Paris), the show will also see Meghan take to her garden, beehive and beyond, showing ‘how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected’.
“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it, surprising people with moments that let them know that I was really thinking of them,” she said in the show’s original trailer.
“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection. We’re in the pursuit of joy.”
The series has been filmed in a Montecito kitchen similar to her own in the area, and will feature special guests like Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters.

Doesn’t this seem… random?
Prior to joining the royal family, Meghan Markle was best known for her role on legal drama Suits from 2011 to 2017.
But, what you may not know is that during that time, she also ran a blog called The Tig, named after an abbreviation of her favorite wine, tignanello.
The website featured everything from travel guides to recipes and beauty tips - she was an influencer before the term was truly coined.
However, the site was ultimately shut down in 2017 along with her Instagram account when she married her now-husband Prince Harry.
“Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more,” she said in an interview with People.
“So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”
So, it’s for this reason that coming back to her roots with With Love, Meghan and her new lifestyle brand As ever isn’t as out of the blue as it may seem.
“My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” she says.
The juicy drama
The thing with With Love, Meghan, is that there isn’t any juicy drama.
Nope, none at all.
Unlike the couple’s interview with Oprah back in 2021, and their first Netflix show Harry & Meghan, which aired in 2022, it’s clear that With Love, Meghan isn’t about exposing truths and starting battles - it’s simply about Meghan entering a new era. One that feels more authentic to herself, and that happens to also contain a lot of jam and rainbow fruit platters.
With Love, Meghan will be airing on Netflix on Tuesday, March 4.
