Aussie camper's solution to coffee on the go revealed

One Aussie couple has taken to social media to show off their must-have product for a coffee that’s just as delicious as it is quick - and yeah, we’re running to Kmart.

“Our favourite Kmart camping hack”

Aussie couple Ashley and Werner, on TikTok as @wetravelledthere, have taken to TikTok to share their most-used product for making coffee on the go.

“Our favourite Kmart camping hack: boiled water in 3 minutes,” they wrote in the video.

“Perfect for making everyone coffees in the morning!”

The product is Kmart’s Campmaster Ultralight Hiking Stove Ultra Jet 1, which retails for $62. According to the Kmart website, it can boil a litre of water in just three minutes and five seconds - a huge win for anyone on the go.

“It’s brilliant!”

Commenters on the post thought the product was perfect, comparing it to the Jetboil alternatives, which retail for upwards of $150.

“Running to Kmart,” said one commenter.

“Perfect,” another agreed.

“That's handy. Cheers,” said a third.

Others had purchased the product already, backing up the couple’s praises.

“They are so good hey! Better than paying $$ for a Jetboil!” one person said.

“Have had mine for 2-3 years. Haven't had any problems at all so far,” said another.

“It’s brilliant! So much quicker to boil water than gas stove,” another added.

Some even complimented its versatility, saying it’s not just good for boiling water.

“My dad and I even make soup in it who needs a jet boil when you can buy this love it,” one commenter said.

“Cooked ravioli and sauce in mine,” another added.

And, it’s clear reviewers agree, with the product accruing a whopping 44 five-star reviews on Kmart’s website - with many saying it’s just as good, if not better than alternatives retailing for over double the price.

“Let's face it. Anything similar is twice the price elsewhere. This little unit is very well made. I bought a pot support for it too for frying,” said one reviewer.

“It may be a knock off, but this is honestly every bit as good as those twice the price. It does what it says it does and while there's a few design and functionality things I would change on it, this cooker is a quality buy that I'd happily recommend to all,” another agreed.

“Awesome product. No need to spend huge amounts as this one is just as good as all the others. Comparison test on recent hiking trip,” said a third person.
