For the last several years, ALDI has been stepping up its game when it comes to Christmas collections.

But, after one product in particular had everybody talking in 2023, dedicated shoppers had no guarantee it would return to shelves - until now.

‘Need to get one this year!’

The tree in question is ALDI’s seven-foot (213cm) tall Luxury Pre-lit Christmas Tree - and shoppers have been asking about its re-release in ALDI fan groups as far back as October. 

The tree has 300 dual coloured LED lights already attached, making it the easiest way to light up a room with no extra effort.

Well, the catalogue featuring this year’s Christmas collection has just been released, and we can confirm that this iconic tree is back by popular demand. 

Not only that, but it’s the exact same price as last year at $149 - an anomaly in this cost of living crisis!

Shoppers in the group couldn’t be more excited about the news.

"Oohh I've been waiting for the Christmas trees," one commenter said.

"ALDI’s Xmas trees are fantastic & some, like the prelit ones, mostly will sell out superfast!" said another.

There’s even more to love

News about the tree has come along with the release of a host of new and returning items for the festive season.

The brand new Henley Pre-lit Christmas Tree, which stands at six-feet tall and retails for just $79.99, is set to make waves this year, and we can see why - what a steal!

These items, as well as other affordable lighting displays and decorations announced as part of this drop, will be hitting the shelves at ALDI next Wednesday, October 30. Get in quick, as they're set to sell out!

A very ALDI Christmas

ALDI has clearly been on the money this Christmas, with other recent announcement causing mayhem amongst dedicated shoppers.

Last week, we saw the return of the highly-anticipated advent calendars to the middle aisle, including the 12-day Swarovski charm bracelet advent calendar and the Scents of the Season candle advent calendar, as well as a series of edible calendars with chocolates and lollies.

The store also recently confirmed some of their Christmas seafood offerings, which hit stores this week. The list included the return of their fan-favourite Lobster Tails, as well as Packets of Specially Selected Lobster Thermidor Style Croquettes for just $6.99, Prawn Balls for just $3.99, Filo Prawn Rolls for $3.99, Scallop & Champagne Gratin for $9.99, Scallop & Prawn Bisque Gratin for $9.99, some impressive Croissant Prawn Puffs for $6.99, and more.
