What is +Rewards?

+Rewards has a range of exclusive subscriber-only giveaways, discounts, offers and benefits, accessible from the top right-hand corner of our websites.

Every month we’ll let you know what’s new and on offer via plusrewards.com.au or newsletter directly to your inbox. But don’t wait too long, many of our wonderful +Rewards are only available while stocks last, or for a limited time.

Our +Rewards can include:

  • Discounts.
  • Freebies.
  • Competitions & Giveaways.
  • Movie & Sporting Tickets.
  • Digital Magazines.
  • eBooks & Audiobooks.

    • Please note:
    Currently +Rewards isn’t embedded within the app. If you select +Rewards in the app, you will be redirected to the website. To access +Rewards you will need to login, if you haven’t already.



    How do I claim a +Reward?

    To claim a +Reward, follow these steps:

    1. Once logged in on the website, your name will replace the Sign In button and a +Rewards button will appear in the top right corner of the screen.

    2. Click on the +Rewards button.

    a. Alternatively, you can also go directly to plusrewards.com.au.

    3. From here you can choose to view Offers, Competitions or All Rewards.

    Offers

    1. Once you have found an offer, click Redeem Now.

    2. There will be redemption instructions listed on the page, follow the instructions and continue to the next page to complete the redemption process.

    Competitions

    1. Once you have found a competition, click Enter Now.

    2. There will be competition instructions listed on the page, follow the instructions and enter all required information.

    3. Click Enter Now to complete your entry.



    Who is eligible for +Rewards?

    We have a variety of subscription offerings, to find out if you are eligible for +Rewards, check your entitlement against the below lists or in your subscription terms and conditions.

  • Subscribers with full digital access (with or without home delivery) to one of the newspapers from our News+ network:

    – Geelong Advertiser

    – The Mercury

    – NT News

    – Gold Coast Bulletin

    – Cairns Post

    – Townsville Bulletin

    – The Chronicle

  • Business and Team subscriptions with full digital access.

    • Not Eligible

  • Subscribers with only home delivery.
  • Digital Print Edition subscribers.
  • App Only subscribers.
  • Digital subscribers who are not a part of the News+ network:

    • – The Australian

    – The Weekly Times

    – SuperCoach & SuperCoach PLUS

    – CODE

    – Punters

    – Racenet iQ

  • The Australian and The Weekly Times have their own +Rewards.
  • iTunes or Google Play Newsstand Subscribers.

  • Eligibility to participate in the +Rewards program is determined by News.
  • News may cancel or terminate this program at any time and will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of any termination of the program.
  • If your subscription does not entitle you to +Rewards or to a particular offer within +Rewards that will be made clear to you on the +Rewards site if you try to redeem that offer.
  • Get in touch to upgrade your membership to one which includes +Rewards.


    • Are there any conditions to +Rewards?

  • To redeem +Rewards you must be 18 years or older.
  • Most +Rewards will require you to be a resident of Australia to redeem, however some digital benefits may be accessed by residents outside of Australia.
  • All +Rewards benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of that offer.
  • When your membership ends, your +Rewards eligibility will also cease, unless you replace it with another eligible active membership.
  • Each +Reward may only be redeemed once, but you can choose as many different +Rewards as you like and new ones will appear online every month.
  • Rewards are only available while stocks last.


    • What +Rewards have I redeemed?

    You can find out what +Rewards you have recently redeemed by following these steps:

    1. Once signed in and you are on the +Rewards page, click on the down arrow located next to your name and select My +Rewards.

    2. You will see a list of the offers you have recently redeemed, with the date they were redeemed on.

    Please note:
  • My +Rewards shows you the offers that you have redeemed on +Rewards, not any third party websites.
  • Redemption instructions and unique codes will be listed in the details of each offer with a link to the third party website, if relevant.


    • Why can’t I enter my address in +Rewards?

    When entering your address in +Rewards you can choose to Search for Address or Enter an Address Manually.
    If you are searching for your address and it doesn’t appear in the drop down, you can choose to enter your address manually instead.
    It is important to make sure you are entering all details correctly.



    Where can I find out who won a competition in +Rewards?

    If a competition has been drawn, you can find out who won by going to the Winners Page, located at the bottom of the +Rewards page.
