Zoë Kravitz has got it — and she isn’t afraid to flaunt it.
The “High Fidelity” actress, 32, made a statement on the Met Gala 2021 red carpet on Monday, wearing a completely sheer metal mesh Saint Laurent gown with a matching thong underneath, Page Six reports.
While flashing your booty happened to be a trend at the America-themed event — with Taraji P. Henson, Teyana Taylor and more joining Kravitz in revealing looks — some fans took to her Instagram comments to express their displeasure.
“Where’s the dress?,” one person wrote “I don’t get why women feel it’s OK to walk around naked … take some damn pride in yourself,” another said.
Sigh.
“I don’t understand why they go practically naked. She’s gorgeous. Why does she feel the need to wear a dress like this??” a third person added.
Kravitz responded to the latter critic, according to the screenshot wizards at Comments by Celebs.
“Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonisation / brainwashing. It’s just a body. We all got em,” she wrote.
Zoe’s dress, which was made from glittering YSL-emblem chains, featured a triangle top while showing off her shoulders with a dazzling halter neck.
Underneath the star wore a silver sequined G-string, which exposed her behind.
One person who probably wasn’t complaining about the nearly-nude look? The star’s rumoured boyfriend Channing Tatum, who walked the steps of the Met for the first time without his lady love, but linked up with her inside and at the afterparties.
